Service Description

Ericksonian hypnosis is a form of therapeutic hypnosis developed by the American psychiatrist Milton H. Erickson. This approach uses indirect suggestions and metaphors to help individuals access their unconscious mind and find solutions to their problems. Unlike traditional hypnosis, which uses direct suggestions to induce a trance state, Ericksonian hypnosis uses indirect suggestions and subtle communication techniques to guide individuals into a light or medium trance state. This approach is considered gentler and more respectful of the individual, as it allows them greater control over the hypnotic process. During an Ericksonian hypnosis session, the therapist may use metaphors, anecdotes, stories, and indirect suggestions to guide the individual into a trance state. The therapist may also use dissociation techniques to help the person detach from their negative emotions and thoughts. Once the person is in a trance state, the therapist can use suggestion techniques to help them modify their behaviors, beliefs, or perceptions. These suggestions can be direct or indirect and are generally tailored to the individual's specific needs. Ericksonian hypnosis can be used to treat a variety of issues, such as anxiety, depression, phobias, sleep disorders, addictions, eating disorders, personality disorders, and more. It is often used in combination with other therapies to help the person achieve their therapeutic goals more effectively.
